Tarbiat Modares University (with the aim of training academic staff of universities, as the only specialized university of postgraduate education in Iran, producing useful science, expanding the frontiers of knowledge and technology, etc.) was established in 1982. Studying at Tarbiat Modares University is only possible at the master’s and doctoral levels. At present, the university president is Dr. Farhad Danshgo.<\/p>\r\n

This university has 6,505 master’s students, 3,463 doctoral students, about 351 foreign students, 32,000 graduates, 772 faculty members, 32,473 published articles, and 21 outstanding scientific figures. Tarbiat Modares University offers a complete program of postgraduate studies in educational and research fields, which is approved by the Ministry of Technology, Health and Medical Education in Iran.
\r\nThe main campus of Tarbiat Modares University is in Tehran<\/a>. The Faculty of Agriculture is located on the Tehran-Karaj road (17 km from Tehran) and the Faculty of Natural Resources and Marine Sciences is located in the city of Noor, Mazandaran.<\/p>\r\n
