In this article, we have discussed the topic of studying at Urmia University of Medical Sciences and any information related to this university. Urmia<\/a>, the capital of West Azerbaijan province, is located in the northwest of Iran and the Azarbaijan region, and Urmia University of Medical Sciences is one of the universities and educational centers of this city.<\/p>\r\n

<\/span>Introduction<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

Urmia Public University of Medical Sciences [under the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education] is the oldest university of modern medical sciences in Iran in the city of Urmia. This center started its activity in 1978 as one of the educational units of Urmia University. Currently, 4376 students and 313 professors are working in Urmia University of Medical Sciences.<\/p>\r\n

Based on the research done, they have published 611 scientific articles in domestic publications and congress [of which 195 journal articles and 416 conference articles] and 3786 internationally valid articles. This university is the owner and publisher of 2 specialized magazines.<\/p>\r\n
