The University of Rehabilitation Sciences and Social Health was established based on the approval of the Council of Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education regarding the establishment of a higher education institution in the field of rehabilitation, and social and mental health. The statute of the University of Rehabilitation Sciences and Social Health was officially established on 9\/8\/71 with the approval of the Development Council of Medical Sciences Universities of the country.<\/p>\r\n

The activity of the University of Rehabilitation Sciences was initially started with the creation of a social work training group and gradually expanded until now with 23 training groups and eight research centers and also benefiting from the scientific ability of more than 150 faculty members in education. and the training of 1,700 students, 65% of whom are studying in post-graduate courses. This university is one of the most prestigious universities of medical sciences in Iran.<\/p>\r\n

Currently, 1776 students and 158 professors are working in this center. Based on the analysis, this center has published 2051 scientific articles in domestic journals and conferences. The University of Rehabilitation Sciences is the owner and publisher of 4 specialized journals. 12 conferences have been organized by the University of Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. In addition, 3863 internationally valid articles have been extracted from this center.
