Petroleum University of Technology is a public university in Abadan city, Khuzestan province. It was established in 1318. Currently, 300 students and 77 professors are working in this center.     <\/span>Tehran Oil College<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

    Tehran Oil College was established as the Faculty of Accounting and Financial Sciences of the National Iranian Oil Company in 1336 and has been working as an educational and research organization in the production, transfer, and expansion of humanities and meeting the scientific and research needs of the country’s oil industry in the aforementioned field. According to the needs of the oil industry, this faculty has been the founder of accounting in Iran.<\/p>\r\n

    According to the current needs of the oil industry and in line with the training of the required personnel at graduate and interdisciplinary levels with an emphasis on humanities, from October 2013 in four master’s courses in oil and gas economics, oil and gas law, financial management and The management of hydrocarbon reservoirs also accepts students. Since 2014, the project management course has been added to the list of Tehran Oil College courses.<\/p>\r\n

    Three fields of oil and gas economics, hydrocarbon reservoir management, and financing and investment in oil and gas will be launched and implemented for the first time in the country.     The educational activities of the Ahvaz Oil College began in 1362 (during the Iran-Iraq war and the suspension of the activities of the Abadan Oil College). These educational and research activities were carried out in the fields of oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical engineering.<\/p>\r\n

    This faculty is the largest faculty of the university. This faculty is located in Ahvaz. The most important field of this faculty is petroleum engineering, and it also has electrical and chemical engineering fields.<\/p>\r\n

    <\/span>Abadan Oil College<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

    Before the nationalization of oil, the British and Iranian Oil Company had a school in Abadan that accepted students from among those with a high school diploma and gave them an engineering degree after three years of study. Two-thirds of the Iranian engineers of Naft Company were provided by this institution and the rest were mainly provided by the High School of Art in Tehran.<\/p>\r\n

    With the nationalization of oil and the removal of iodine from the Iranian and British oil companies, the oil school was closed. After the August 28 coup, in the fall of 1332, Ali Asghar Porehmayun decided to establish the Oil College in the High School of Arts, which was separated from the Ministry of Culture and transferred to the Ministry of National Economy five years ago.<\/p>\r\n

    The next Minister of National Economy, Fakhreddin Shadman, who took office the following year, believed that the students of the oil faculty should take theoretical lessons in Tehran and practical lessons in Abadan, but the opinion of Reza Jafari, the Minister of Culture, was that the faculty should be transferred to Abadan. With the approval of the parliament, his opinion was implemented. <\/sup><\/p>\r\n

    <\/span>Mahmoodabad Marine Science Faculty<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

    It is one of the first marine science educational centers that started operating in 1364 in Mahmudabad city and Mazandaran province. This center, which is one of the faculties of the Petroleum University of Technology, trains seafarers to work on ocean-going vessels. After graduation, the students of this center are usually employed by Iran’s shipping companies, including Iran’s National Oil Tanker Company and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping.<\/p>\r\n
