Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences started its work in 1365 by accepting 260 students in three fields and two study levels in the form of two faculties, and now there are nearly 1957 students in 19 fields and 7 study levels, clinical doctorate, Ph.D, Ph.D. Professional, master’s degree, continuous and non-continuous bachelor’s degree, and associate degree and are studying in 6 faculties of medicine, paramedicine, new technologies, health, nursing, and midwifery in Shahrekord and Borujen medical sciences faculty.<\/p>\r\n

University students benefit from 30,000 square meters of educational space, modern educational equipment, educational and research assistance, the possibility of benefiting from four research centers, two educational hospitals, two specialized libraries equipped with the latest scientific resources, the possibility of professors and students benefiting from computer and internet services from The facilities of this university.<\/p>\r\n

Shahrekord Medical School started its work in 1365 by admitting 110 medical students and continued its educational activity since 1366 independently and as the first faculty of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences. Currently, it accepts medical students in two semesters. This faculty has teaching assistants for basic medical and clinical sciences, administrative-financial assistants, and research assistants. This faculty has specialty courses in 5<\/sup> fields; internal medicine, pediatric surgery, anesthesia, and gynecology, a general doctorate course in the field of medicine, and a master’s course in the fields of parasitology, microbiology, human genetics, and immunology.<\/p>\r\n

Shahrekord School of Dentistry was opened in 2013 and started working at the beginning of the academic year 2014 with the admission of 20 students in the dental professional doctorate.<\/p>\r\n

This faculty has 3 educational groups which are: the Educational Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, the Educational Department of Public Health, and the Educational Department of Environmental Health Engineering. In 1370, it started operating in Borujen city under the name of nursing faculty, and then in 1401, it became the faculty of medical sciences.<\/p>\r\n
