Admission Capacity of Iranian Students in International Campuses<\/h3>\r\n

All universities and higher education institutions of the country<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

With greetings and respect<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is to inform you that the Higher Education Expansion Council, in its meeting No. 955 dated 2023\/07\/24, has decided that<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

the admission capacity for Iranian Students in international campuses is determined annually by the Office of Higher Education Expansion based on the number of foreign students admitted. The admission of students to international campuses should be conducted in such a way that, after three years from the beginning of the campus’s activities, the ratio of foreign students to domestic students is set at four foreign students for every one Iranian student. The capacity for admitting foreign students in public and private universities and higher education<\/a> institutions will be determined solely by the Office of Higher Education Expansion.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

Additionally, according to resolution No. 961 dated 2023\/02\/26 of the Higher Education Expansion Council<\/a>, it was decided that<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

the maximum capacity for admitting foreign students in permitted cases, except for international campuses, is set at 50% of the capacity limit according to the approved allocation model. Universities<\/a> and higher education institutions are required to obtain the necessary permits separately from the Office of Higher Education Expansion for the admission of foreign students in each active program.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
